Having built both businesses from the ground up, Marcus also chairs the Australian Credit Committee, where he leverages his global expertise in strategy and leadership.

John joined MB Private in 2025 from MoneyMe, where he was Chief Investment Officer and Head of Treasury. With 30+ years’ experience in global financial markets, he’s held senior roles at SocietyOne, Westpac, and RBS.

Frank is founder and Managing Director of SureCapital Group and a founding partner of Link Financial Group. With over 20 years in financial services, he also established EverBright Finance, a multi-award-winning brokerage, and supports SMEs through his nonprofit E-Wisdom Business Forum.

Peter is a former CEO of Westpac NZ and senior executive at CBA, Westpac, and St. George, with deep experience across strategy, M&A, and operations. He now chairs Zagga Australia and sits on several boards including Digi.cash, Heritage Bank, and Dubber.

Mike is an Independent Director at SBS Bank and Chair of FANZ, with a long career in NZ banking, including senior roles at Rural Bank, National Bank, and BNZ, where he led Agribusiness and BNZ Partners.

Kent joined MB Private in 2024, bringing 20+ years in lending and non-bank finance. A multiple-exit founder, he led NZ’s first fintech lender and co-founded an SME/mezz finance business, with deep expertise in scaling high-growth ventures.

Chris is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience in financial markets, including 15 years in the UK alternative investments industry. He founded MB Funds, securing its FMA licence in 2016, and continues to lead the firm, bringing deep expertise in operations, finance, and compliance.
