Chris Wells

Chris is a Chartered Accountant and member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand with over 30 years of experience in financial markets. After beginning his career in audit, he transitioned to the highly regulated alternative investments industry in the United Kingdom, where he spent 15 years deeply involved in finance, systems, and compliance.

Since returning to New Zealand in 2004, Chris has continued to build his career in financial services. He played a pivotal role in establishing MB Funds and led the successful application for a managed investment scheme manager licence issued by the New Zealand Financial Markets Authority in 2016. He continues to lead the company today.

Chris brings extensive expertise across operations, finance, and compliance, underpinned by decades of leadership in both domestic and international markets.
